Breast Lift in Wichita, KS by Dr. Voge

Breast LiftDo your breasts sag or droop? There is a solution. Breasts change shape and form over the years. Genetics, pregnancy, nursing, weight fluctuation or aging can all have lasting effects on your breasts.

A mastopexy, or breast lift, by Dr. Vanessa Voge, will return youthful shape and lift to breasts that have sagged or lost volume and firmness.

What is a breast lift?

Dr. Voge rejuvenates the breasts by trimming excess skin and tightening supporting tissues to achieve an uplifted, youthful contour. After a mastopexy, the breasts are higher on the chest and firmer to the touch. Breast lifts can also reposition and reduce the size of the areola—the dark skin surrounding the nipple—which may have stretched or drooped.

Breast size does not change after a breast lift, nor does the fullness or roundness in the upper part of the breasts. If you desire larger or more rounded breasts you may want to consider a breast augmentation in conjunction with your breast lift.

Other women choose a breast lift combined with breast reduction for improved breast shape and size.

Dr. Voge will present your surgical options and skillfully lead you through the decision-making process to ensure your breasts are what you envision.

Frequently Asked Questions about Breast Lift Surgery

Q: How long is the recovery time?

A: You will be able to return home the same day of your breast lift surgery. Recovery time will vary. Typically patients return to work within a week and begin light exercise in about 6-8 weeks. The final results of your breast lift will take some time to appear as your breast shape and position settle over the next few months.

Q: Where will the incision site be made?

A: Dr. Voge will discuss your incision options during your consultation. Typically there are three options that will depend on your desired outcome and scar placement concerns. They are an incision around the areola only, an areolar plus vertical incision to the inferior breast crease (commonly known as lollipop incision) or an incision around the areola, a vertical incision below the areola and a lower breast crease incision (commonly known as anchor incision).

Q: How much does a breast lift cost?

A: A breast lift alone will cost approximately $4,500. A breast lift combined with augmentation will cost between $6,700-$8,700 depending on the type of implants you choose. At your consultation, you will receive an exact price quote.
